Gruenert Center is DPD’s Adult Day Training program located in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. The Gruenert Center offers a diversified experience to approximately 50 clients through paid work opportunities in its sub-contract work area, prime manufacturing of ceramics and community cleaning crews. The program also offers relevant learning experiences through its many specialty groups such as communication, current events, relaxation and stress management and performing arts. Clients with more intensive needs can enjoy a higher level of staff interaction in Gruenert Center’s Basic Concepts area. The Center also offers recreation and social events such as its annual Halloween and Christmas socials and a yearly picnic at Camp Jefferson.
